Frequently Asked Questions

Our assessment form is a free online tool that helps connect prospective clients to our staff. The form can be accessed directly from our website and the information you provide comes directly into our system in the form of a profile. Someone from our office will look at your profile, assess your situation, and contact you about a consultation or any other options. The form speeds up the process for new prospects as it minimizes the time spent gathering the details needed to accurately assess your situation at the outset. It also ensures we have the proper contact information on hand at all times. Of course, you may always contact our office directly if you feel that you cannot express your particular needs through the form. Nonetheless, we may ask you to fill out the form if we find that we need more information that cannot be easily relayed via phone call or email.

If you choose to sign an agreement with us, we will be in frequent contact with you about your case. We commit to providing honest and transparent details about any and all updates concerning your file. We are always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have via email or phone conversation during office hours and aim to respond to any messages left outside of these hours as soon as possible.

We ask that you send us a valid form of ID and have paid the consultation fee prior to your appointment. It is always beneficial to send any additional documents that you think might be helpful but no other documentation is required.

The laws and many programs governing immigration to Canada can be complex and difficult to navigate. Immigration programs are constantly changing and there are many program requirements that may not be initially apparent to someone with no immigration background. It is always recommended that you seek professional legal advice before pursuing any path with regards to immigration. Legal experts have years of practice and experience which they can use to offer you advice and assistance when pursuing your goals and help minimize risk. This is why we encourage all prospective clients to come in for a consultation so that they can develop clear expectations and make informed decisions prior to acting.

You can reach us via the phone and email information listed in the Contact section of our website. If you are unable to reach us by phone, please leave a detailed message or send an email and we will respond to you as soon as possible.

You may contact our office any time for an estimate but no feasible figures can be given until your circumstances have been adequately assessed. Typically, this will require an initial consultation with Haidah.

We accept payment via etransfer or traditional bank wire transfer.

Consultation

A consultation is a wise investment: you will have the opportunity to discuss your goals and Haidah will assess the details of your personal situation in order to advise you what steps you will need to take next. During a legal consultation, you will be asked about your work experience, educational background, and whether there are any issues that might delay or deny your ability to come to Canada, such as medical or legal issues. By the end of the consultation, you will have a comprehensive understanding of the steps you need to take for your immigration application and you can make an informed decision on whether you need to hire a legal representative or if you are able to do it yourself.

Confidentiality

We uphold our ideal of keeping all information given by our clients confidential. It is our duty to ensure that whatever communication our clients have entrusted to us will only be disclosed to authorized persons. This ethical standard of confidentiality is applied to all work we do.

Cost

The cost for a legal consultation is $300.00 plus tax. The cost for legal representation is case-by-case and varies according to many factors, including the type of application. Fees will be discussed and determined during the initial consult and will be tailored to each client and their circumstances.
